Satellite Powered Verizon

When Verizon found out T-Mobile was set to announce a partnership with Starlink at Super Bowl 59, they wanted to steal the spotlight. So in just 25 days, we wrote, shot, edited and released a campaign announcing their own satellite network with the help of legendary Apollo 11 astronaut and moonwalker Dr. Buzz Aldrin.

Our campaign showed Buzz conquering dead zones across the country with the help of old friend and advertising icon, the Verizon Test Man. The spot aired one week before the Super Bowl at the 67th Grammy Awards, earning instant recognition and forcing said competitor to change their Super Bowl ad in the process.
